Nike Bauer has purchased Itech Hockey and Nike Bauer will return to just Bauer like it was in its first days. The new Bauer equipment line up will include goalie leg pads, blockers, gloves, composite sticks, player gloves, and helmets. NHL goalies Vesa Toskala, Martin Gerber, and Tim Thomas will be the main wearers of these new pads when they become available. The pads are very similar to the old Nike Supreme One series of goalie pads but will feature new technology and a new logo. a price hasn't been given for them, and neither has a release date.
